Tzara was born in a large stable, kept as a potential breeding mare. Katlin was the young stablehand who was assigned to care for and exercise Tzara among several other mares, and the two of them formed a close bond very quickly. They both had fiery, strong personalities and a love for running out in the expansive plains, pretending they were free and without troubles. When Katlin's peers betrayed her, it was Tzara that she slipped away with in the night, stealing the young mare both as an escape route and also to bring her along on her adventures.
